Therefore, we strongly encourage you to read this Privacy Policy and,  if you do not agree with the terms set forth in this Policy, please do not enter, access or use the Site.

Information Collection and Use

For a better experience, we are likely to collect several kinds of personal identifiable information from users in different ways, pursuant to the definitions below. Types of Information Collected and retained are majorly of two types and they include but are not limited to, when Users visit our Sites, fill out a form, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Sites. Users may be asked to fill out appropriately their name, email address and location. When using our services and providing personal data or information, you acknowledge and agree that you have the necessary consents and authority to provide such data or information.

Non-Personal / Identifiable Information: Like most websites, we gather statistical and other analytical information collected on an aggregate basis of all visitors to our websites. This Non-Personal Data comprises information that cannot be used to identify or contact you, such as demographic, the browser’s name, the type of computer and technical information about Users, means of connection to our Site, such as the operating system, user Internet service providers “IP addresses” where they have been clipped or anonymised, browser types and other anonymous statistical data involving the use of our website.

We may share User Content and your information (including but not limited to, information from cookies, log files, device identifiers, location data, and usage data) with businesses that become part of a group of businesses associated with ChoreOnline Inc. ("Affiliates").  Affiliates may use this information to help provide, understand, and improve the Service (including by providing analytics) and Affiliates' own services (including by providing you with better and more relevant experiences).

We also may share your information as well as information from tools like cookies, log files, and device identifiers and location data, with third-party organizations that help us provide the Service to you ("Service Providers"). Our Service Providers will be given access to your information as is reasonably necessary to provide the Service under reasonable confidentiality terms.

Affiliated third parties contracted by ChoreOnline Inc. in order to be able to provide its customers with the service explained in our public documentation (example: payment processing), may also collect private user information, including but not limited to the user’s name, e-mail address, physical address, and credit card information. This information is stored on the Third Parties’ servers and in their databases, and are governed by said Third Parties’ respective Privacy Policies, which the Company encourages you to read, which might differ from ours.  This information is retained by third parties like PayPal and Stripe Inc. for the purpose of financial transactions, for which the Company will assume no liability.

Cookies

Web Beacons

A web beacon is a programming code that can be used to display an image on a web page, but can also be used to transfer your unique user identification to a database and associate you with previously acquired information about an individual in a database. Web beacons are used to track online behavioral habits for marketing purposes to determine products or services you may be interested in. In addition to using web beacons on web pages, https://iodc.online and http://choreography.online/  may also use web beacons in email messages sent to individuals listed in the ChoreOnline Inc. database.

Use of Information Collected

The bases we use as consent for the processing of your data are legitimate interests. This is specifically required in order for us to monitor and manage this contest. We may also receive your consent to send you useful information related to our products and services. We may collect and utilize users’ personal information for the following purposes:

  • To send you any physical prizes or sponsored merchandise related to IODC and the Company’s commercial activities;

  • To improve users’ experience;

  • To communicate with you (via e-mail, post or otherwise) and provide you with promotional materials and additional information regarding our services and surveys;

  • To send you information on our sponsors and our sponsors’ products and services, as well as to make you aware of who our sponsors are, and what services or products they provide;

  • Conduct marketing and performance research, to assist us in measuring our customer service, benchmarking our performance and to help us improve our experiences;

  • Accept and moderate the legitimacy of contest entries for our contest campaign. We may publicly display entries and associated entry information on our website for the general public to share and vote on.

  • We may also conduct internal judging of entries and associated personal information for selecting a winner.

  • We may also capture information to manage the legitimacy of voting to ensure fraud does not occur.

  • We may also send you periodic marketing material or target you with relevant ads if the content is going to be relevant to you and you provide us with consent. Each email will include a simple unsubscribe link for you to opt out if you wish. We may use re-marketing across trusted websites, including Google Ads and use your details to target relevant ads to you on social media channels, including; Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.

How long will we keep your information?

The information you provide to us may be stored until you direct us to delete it.

We will not sell or rent your information to third parties.

We make sure that any information that needs to be shared with third parties will be used in a manner consistent with this Policy. When creating an account and asked to choose a password, in which case your online account information shall be protected by your password. The third parties to whom we may provide this information may include commercial partners, sponsors, licensees, researchers and other similar parties.   Note: These sites and services may have their own privacy policies and customer service policies. Therefore, we encourage our users to be aware when they leave our Site and to familiarize themselves with the privacy statements of every website that collects personal information.

Underage visitors

We are concerned to protect the privacy of children aged  or under. If you are aged or under‚ any of your personal information required in order to use our Sites must be submitted by a parent or legal guardian.  There is a field for the parent or legal guardian’s name and their e-mail address, so that they may be contacted by us directly, in the event that we suspect that a minor has submitted personal information without a parent’s or legal guardian’s consent.

Therefore, by accessing, entering and using our Sites and Services, your parent or legal guardian confirms to the Company that you are permitted to submit any required personal information to us in order to use the site, and that the Company will assume no liability in the case you violate such obligation.
